Of all the artists at work in 18th century England, none explored more inventively the interstices of Georgian society and the complexities of British imperial rule than Johan Zoffany. This exhibition features paintings (such as The Gore Family with George, Third Earl Cowper, c1775, right), drawings and prints from international collections – many rarely or never exhibited before.
