Tropical Extravaganza at Kew Gardens

Find a flash of colour amid the muted tones of winter at the Tropical Extravaganza from 4 February - 4 March at Kew Gardens. During the festival, exotic orchids, foliage displays and tropical flowers dominate the Princess of Wales Conservatory and there will be many guides on site to answer questions. Also of interest are several hands-on sessions and behind-the-scene tours, including expert advice on growing your own orchids. The theme this year is Forces of Nature, illustrating how plants and fungi interact so effectively with earth, wind, fire and water.
