Flying High - Traditional Easter Decorations

Rebecca Fishenden selects traditional Easter decorations sure to raise spirits during the holiday season.

1 Easter wouldn’t be complete without a china bunny or two and Villeroy & Boch is looking for a good home for this one. It’s priced at £11.50.

2 Made to order, an Easter wreath from Velvet Brown uses natural materials and is a timely reminder that warmer weather is on its way. It costs £45 and is also available in pink or natural colours.

3 These hanging knitted chicks are £2.85 each, from Joanna Wood, so there’s no excuse not to get into the spirit of the season.

4 There’s never been a prettier way to store half a dozen fresh eggs than with this painted wood egg house, £19.99, from The Contemporary Home.

5 Featuring an original print and finished with hand embroidery, this cushion comes with a duck feather insert measuring 40cm x 40cm. The reverse of the cushion has lots of small rabbits scampering over it and it’s available for £42 from Belle & Boo.

6 Measuring 40cm high, this Easter tree would make a welcome centrepiece on a hallway table. It is £14.95 from the Dotcomgiftshop.

7 Russian doll chickens are a new idea this season from John Lewis, but they can be used year after year. Sold as a set of three, for £8.
