Update October 2010

Alison Moses updates us on the renovation of her 18th Century Lock Keepers Cottage in Staffordshire.

Still plenty of work to do on the existing building, recent progress includes:

  • Installing a structural oak beam and steel box beam to enable an internal wall to be removed.
  • Internal wall taken out
  • A bridge has been designed and built to go over the by-wash
  • Damaged floor joists have been replaced
  • Old shed has been taken down
  • Started to clear some of the rubbish and weeds from the garden
