New Periodliving.co.uk
We’ve been working on a great new website for Period Living www.periodliving.co.uk and hope you’ll find what we have come up with useful. If you are looking for inspiration, then you’ll love the mix of beautiful period houses, gardens and interiors, they’re a brilliant source of design and decorating ideas.
There’s also daily news on the latest updates for your home, book launches, events and diary dates, plus exclusive online competitions and offers.
If you have a project in mind, then you’ll find the directory invaluable - the team have put together a huge contact book for everything from craftsmen specialising in the care and repair of traditional buildings, to traditional furniture and fabric houses, to period style kitchens and bathrooms.
You’ll also find a vast amount of in-depth archive content from PL’s expert contributors, including period property experts Douglas Kent, Marianne Suhr and Roger Hunt, DIY expert Helaine Clare plus expert answers on all of your queries on everything from listed buildings, to antiques.
You can add to the website too by becoming part of the PL community. You can post details, photos or a blog about your own period home and your renovation and improvement projects, share ideas and opinions, or join in discussion forums. Take a look at www.periodliving.co.uk

Period Living Community
I think sharing photos, information and advice about your own projects is a good idea.
Having been featured recently in the magazine I thought I would share some of our "How to do ...." tips and advice.
However, I only seem to be able to access the discussion forum and access is denied whenever I click on the Period Living Community link.
Perhaps I am a bit of a dinosaur and missing the obvious - but I thought there may be a bit of a blog community area?
Period Living Community
Hi Philippa, many thanks for your comment, whilst our community area is still in Beta stage (a work in progress) we're setting people up with blogger access to Period Living manually. I'll email you directly with how to get started and my direct contact info should you have any queries or have any feedback about getting started.
Kind regards,
