Soundproofing

Anyone found a solution to soundproofing between neighbours please? We live in a cottage built in 1650, timber frame with single brick infill and would like to lessen sound coming from next door

Soundproofing

Hi, my partner is a DJ and has a music studio in our loft. He's fitted acoustic panels on the walls and the floor and this has proved to be very effective at keeping the sound out (I can't hear a thing) we used http://www.periodliving.co.uk/directory/knauf-insulation-ltd. Hope this helps.
