I would like to get by iron bath resurfaced

I would like to get by iron bath resurfaced, preferably by someone in my area of the country. Can you help me?
Mrs Brenda Betts, Maidstone, Kent

Michael Holmes replies: Original cast-iron roll-top baths are well worth preserving. If there are just a few chips in the enamel finish, these can be repaired individually. If there are several areas of damage - typically around the waste, base and tap holes - or the enamel surface has simply worn away and lost its shine, the entire bath can be resurfaced. This work can be done with the bath still in situ and can be back in use within 24 hours. If you have the entire bath re-enamelled you could also opt to change the colour. In your area try the following specialists; Bathglaze (0800 849 8069); Diamond Gleam (07967 182599); The Bath Business (01342 324577); Bath Fix (01424 858227).
