Treating damp on internal walls?
I have damp on two internal walls, one of which is an external facing wall, the other a chimney breast. Both internal and external floor levels were raised by the previous owner when they added a new kitchen to the property and the internal floors concreted. The damp on the chimney breast is on the wall adjacent to the new kitchen extension . I am unable to remove the internal concrete flooring and wondered the best way to go about dealing with this damp problem until I am in a position to hack up the internal concrete flooring. The house was built in approx. 1890. I would be grateful for any advice you are able to offer.
