Can you think of a birthday present for my friend who collects cups and saucers, but doesn't like anything too floral or feminine?

Katharine Clemow replies: This pretty green cup and saucer set, £36 (for four), from Jasmine Way (020 8715 2520) would make a lovely gift. It has a delicate lacy pattern making it an attractive addition to the table, while the fresh green avoids any sense of it being over decorated.
