English Heritage launch new Days Out App

Discover a world of castles, historic houses and glorious gardens with the new English Heritage smartphone app.

From Stonehenge to Dover Castle, the Days Out App features over 400 of English Heritage’s most spectacular places to visit. Users can also find out what events – such as jousting, special tours or exhibitions – are happening at properties near them.

The app is simple to use and allows you to tailor the search to your needs - whether you're looking for somewhere to go for a day out with the dog or the kids, or need to find somewhere with practical features such as disabled access, the app's intuitive search can help. If you are already on the move, you can find your nearest property on a map, check the opening times and also plan your route.
