Deeds

Having recently purchased a victorian property, our solicitor provided us with all the original conveyencing documents going back to the first owners. Our daughter also had these documents given to her on completion of her purchase. At one time, the solicitor used to hold these until the mortgage was paid off but now they routinely give them to the new owners. Try contacting your solicitor - they may have them on file.

They do make fascinating reading.
