Period Living Readers' Awards: The Categories

Cottage: Do you live in a cottage with three bedrooms or less that’s packed with period style? We’d love to hear how you’ve restored your home.

Country House: We’re looking for period homes in rural settings that have at least three bedrooms and are full of elegant style ideas and original features.

Townhouse: If you live in a town or city location, we would like to see how you’ve nurtured – or reinstated – the character in your traditional home.

Apartment: Whether your apartment is a bijou flat or a two-storey maisonette, we look forward to seeing your clever renovation ideas for small spaces.

Conversion: Have you converted an old building – such as a barn, pub, school or church – into a comfortable home? Then we want to hear from you.

Kitchen: You may not have completed the work on your entire house yet, but have already given your kitchen an overhaul. Why not enter yours?

Bathroom: Bathrooms are a great escape from the dust and mess of renovations. So if you’ve created a real sanctuary, we’d love to see the results.

Extension: Extending is a good way of acquiring space without the stress of moving. If you’ve added a sympathetic extension, then enter our Awards.
