What a great summer we’ve had: we have received a remarkable number of entries to our Readers’ Awards 2011, and even more than ever via the website, so thanks to everyone who took the time to get in touch. We’ve enjoyed reading all your stories – and it has been wonderful travelling round the UK photographing our seven finalists. Thanks must also go to our sponsor Kit Stone, makers of luxury bespoke kitchens and interior and garden furniture at affordable prices; its ethos matches the aim of our Awards perfectly – and this year’s winners prove that you don’t have to spend a lot to achieve impressive results.
