Haddonstone is the UK’s leading manufacturer of fine garden ornaments and architectural stonework. Established in 1971, in recent years the company has expanded to become an international group with companies in the United Kingdom and United States of America.

Haddonstone’s purpose-built Northamptonshire manufactory is located on a two-hectare (5 acre) site. It incorporates the company’s 5000 sq.m (54,000 sq ft) manufactory, studio and mould shop complex, laboratory, vapour curing, stockyard and loading area. The manufactory is located just six miles from the company’s headquarters and acclaimed show gardens at East Haddon.

Haddonstone is a special form of cast limestone with a surface texture similar to Portland stone. However, in a number of important ways Haddonstone is markedly superior, one of its greatest advantages being price, which, piece for piece, is normally significantly less than that of quarried stone. Complementing the surface finish of our renowned dry-cast product is Haddon-Tecstone (otherwise know as Tecstone), a denser material with a smoother finish to meet new and exacting design and performance criteria.

The nature of the Haddonstone material enables it to be moulded to almost any shape, faithfully reproducing new designs and producing replicas that are virtually indistinguishable from the original.

Haddonstone is a founder member of the United Kingdom Cast Stone Association (UKCSA). The Association defines strict levels of technical performance, which are set out in the UKCSA Technical Manual, to which all members comply. Haddonstone’s minimum cube compressive strength at 28 days is greater than 35MPa, whilst Tecstone’s is greater that 45MPa – both materials therefore exceed the requirements of the UKCSA specification. In addition, both materials comply with the requirements of BS1217: 1997, BS5642: 1983 and BS6457: 1984. Furthermore, as part of our Quality Assurance procedures, the materials are regularly tested both in our own laboratory and by a recognised independent laboratory. Thus our customers may have every confidence that the quality and durability of both Haddonstone and Tecstone materials will meet their needs.

An impressive 200-page full colour catalogue is available. Also, a CD containing the catalogue as well as technical specification sheets, assembly advice, CAD drawings and a corporate video.
